This app has it all - exercises, guided meditation and breathing techniques, all of which help to clear your mind and relax. So if you’re looking for an app with a wider range of services, Calm might be for you. There is even a Calm Kids section, so if you have little people in your life it's a great way to teach them the importance of mindfulness and self care. 

3. The Mindfulness App - Price: Free with in-app purchases

Both meditation beginners and gurus will find many options suitable to their level within this app. By offering personalised meditation options, reminders to keep you mindful throughout your day, a meditation journal and short guided or silent meditations between 3 and 30 minutes there really is something to suit everyone. 

4. Daily Yoga - Price: Free with in-app purchases

Moving your body every day is great for both your physical and mental health. Daily Yoga gives you the chance to do that from beginner to yogi, there are step-by-step guides to help you through every movement. The app includes a wide range of full workouts to help you get fit and healthy and the support of a global yogi community.

5. Yoga Studio - Price: Free with in-app purchases

This is an all in one app featuring over 100 videos of yoga workouts and meditations for you to complete in the comfort of your own home. Yoga Studio has a great feature that allows you to quickly search for a workout based on ability, intensity and duration.

6. Colorfy - Price: Free with in-app purchases

There is something to be said for an adult colour book. Though the physical thing is great to help you de-stress and relax, the ease of being able to achieve the same feeling while using an app makes it that much easier. Colorfy is one of those apps that becomes weirdly addictive, you’ll find yourself spending hours colouring the array of different images while easily flowing into an almost meditative state. 

7. Nature Sounds Relax and Sleep - Price: Free with in-app purchases

We all know the importance of sleep. In fact, as many parents will know there is nothing worse than sleep deprivation. Unfortunately a lack of good quality sleep is often a side effect of stress and poor mental health. Nature Sounds Relax and Sleep is an app that allows you to calm your mind and breathe by listening to the soothing sounds of nature.
